Socialization of Anti-Gratification and Integrity in Public Service
NewsJakarta – On Friday, February 16, 2024, Politeknik STIA LAN Jakarta held a socialization event on anti-gratification and integrity-based public service, free from corruption, for civil servants. The event aimed to raise awareness and understanding of the importance of integrity and corruption prevention in the public service sector, especially within the campus of Politeknik STIA LAN Jakarta.
The speakers for this event were Ms. Mutiara, the Head of the Task Force Program for Gratification Control from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), and Ms. Ana Devi, the Chairperson of the Gratification Control Program Team from the Directorate of Gratification and Public Services, also from the KPK. Their presence served as a significant encouragement for the participants to gain deeper insights into corruption prevention efforts in the public service sector.
The event began with an opening speech by the Director of Politeknik STIA LAN Jakarta, Dr. Nurliah Nurdin, MA. In her address, she emphasized that integrity is the key to combating corruption. “Integrity must always be upheld wherever we are,” said Dr. Nurliah Nurdin.
Furthermore, the event included discussions, Q&A sessions, and other interactive sessions that allowed participants to share their experiences and knowledge about corruption prevention. Participants from various units at Politeknik STIA LAN Jakarta, including faculty members and administrative staff, attended enthusiastically to take part in the event.
With this socialization event, it is hoped that awareness of the importance of integrity and corruption prevention will be further instilled among civil servants, especially in the public service sector. Politeknik STIA LAN Jakarta is committed to continually supporting anti-corruption efforts to create a more transparent, accountable, and integrity-based public service.
